Job Summary

Providing compassionate support, the part-time hourly Massachusetts Crisis Line Associate will answer crisis calls, offer empathetic listening, and help de-escalate situations while working remotely Thursday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Key responsibilities

• Answer crisis calls from individuals seeking emotional support, including those at risk of suicide
• Provide empathetic, active, and non-judgmental listening to de-escalate crisis situations
• Accurately document call interactions and participate in team meetings and ongoing training

Required qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Must reside in the State of Massachusetts
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment
• Experience working independently in a remote environment
