Job Summary
Driving strategic decisions for a $1B Massachusetts Personal Lines Auto book, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Actuary III will provide actuarial analyses, support rate changes, and influence outcomes while working in a hybrid/remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the market by developing deep expertise as the lead analyst for Massachusetts Personal Lines Auto
- Provide actuarial analysis for rate changes and strategic initiatives, including pricing reviews and profitability forecasts
- Communicate findings clearly to peers and senior leadership while mentoring less experienced staff
Required qualifications
- 5-7 years of actuarial personal lines pricing or related experience
- 5+ CAS exams passed
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional knowledge in a specialized field
- Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation
- Experience in carrying out advanced quantitative analyses and contributing to complex projects
