Job Summary
Providing legal counsel to energy services and renewable energy business units throughout North America, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Assistant General Counsel will advise on project development, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks while based in Framingham, Massachusetts.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on the development, construction, and operation of energy services and renewable energy projects
- Evaluate, structure, draft, and negotiate contracts related to energy services, financing arrangements, and professional services
- Guide on regulatory environments and assist in dispute resolution and risk management strategies
Required qualifications
- J.D. or other advanced legal degree
- Minimum of ten years of experience, preferably in major firms or in-house roles
- Admitted to practice in Massachusetts
- Expertise in energy services and/or renewable energy project development preferred
- Willingness to travel as required
