Job Summary
Supporting the payor contracting function, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Associate General Counsel will manage the full contract lifecycle, including negotiation and post-execution management of Medicare Advantage agreements, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Negotiate and draft Medicare Advantage risk agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Review and maintain payor contract templates and assist with contract interpretation and management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial terms and support vendor contract negotiations
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of transactional legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Experience with healthcare payor contracting or value-based care arrangements
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law
- Foundational knowledge of Medicare Advantage and healthcare regulatory requirements
- Ability to draft and negotiate complex agreements and provide practical legal advice
