Massachusetts Licensed CDI Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CDI Team Lead to provide leadership and education within a clinical documentation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead auditing and validation efforts to ensure accuracy and integrity of documentation and coding practices
• Monitor team performance and analyze trends to identify gaps and implement improvement strategies
• Provide coaching and ongoing education to CDI specialists based on audit findings and performance metrics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in clinical documentation integrity, with strong auditing expertise
• Active RN license required
• Advanced knowledge of CDI practices and coding guidelines (ICD-10-CM/PCS)
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence clinical documentation professionals
