Job Summary
To enhance patient care through comprehensive medication management, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will monitor patients, develop clinical guidelines, and provide drug therapy recommendations in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitors patients in specific units, collecting data and interpreting drug-related laboratory results
- Develops and improves ambulatory pharmacy programs and services, including drug use evaluations and clinic management
- Coordinates continuing education activities for medical and nursing staff and precepts pharmacy residents and students
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required; Doctoral degree preferred
- Registration as a Massachusetts Pharmacist required
- 1-3 years of related work experience required
- Completion of PGY1 accredited pharmacy residency or 3+ years of clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Must obtain one or more certifications (CSP, BCPS, BCACP) within 18 months of hire
