Massachusetts Licensed Commercial Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Counsel to join its Business Legal Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including customer, partner, vendor, and data privacy contracts
• Serve as a trusted advisor to regional teams on legal and business issues, managing legal risk and compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and develop legal policies and training

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Attorney (preferably in MA, NY, MN, or DE)
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally in the technology or SaaS sector
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including data privacy agreements
• Strong knowledge of data privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
