Massachusetts Licensed Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

To support legal operations, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Corporate Counsel in General Litigation will assess legal threats, manage litigation strategies, and provide guidance on complex legal matters while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assess lawsuits, demand letters, and customer complaints to develop response strategies
• Draft and review court filings and guide litigation strategy from assessment through resolution
• Negotiate with opposing counsel and partner with internal teams to identify and mitigate litigation risks

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant litigation experience, with in-house experience preferred
• Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Active membership in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar or eligibility for in-house counsel admission
• A practical, business-minded approach to evaluating legal issues and managing risk
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
