Job Summary
Supporting the Boston team in a remote capacity, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Customs Broker will oversee the import process, ensuring compliance with U.S. and foreign regulations while guiding customers through customs requirements and preparing necessary documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Guides customers through customs requirements by preparing and submitting documents, determining tariff payments, and tracking shipments
- Recommends routing and handling for exports/imports and prepares all necessary documentation for compliance
- Resolves customer issues and collaborates with other departments to pursue new sales leads and address operational challenges
Required qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Customs Broker
- 5+ years of experience as a Licensed Customs Broker working with a broker
- Strong understanding of U.S. and foreign customs regulations
- Experience with document preparation for customs compliance
- Ability to manage and resolve customer issues professionally
