Job Summary
Providing employee assistance services, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Employee Assistance Counselor will deliver clinical care, consultation, and training to support the well-being of faculty, staff, and their families at Boston University, with some remote work options available.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver confidential clinical services, including assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention for individuals and groups
- Create and conduct training workshops on EAP services and promote employee wellness initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness and community engagement
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree and current Massachusetts mental health professional license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years post-Master's experience in a relevant field
- Experience working with diverse populations and addressing a broad range of behavioral health issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Data Base Management applications
- Availability to provide some services outside of standard business hours
