Job Summary
To support a growing telemedicine practice, a Massachusetts Licensed Endocrinologist will provide direct patient care focused on evidence-based obesity treatment and comprehensive diabetes management in a full-time remote role, collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including insulin titration and management of patients using CGMs and insulin pumps
- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and Registered Dietitians to ensure quality care and management of complex endocrinology cases
- Conduct weekly meetings with assigned APPs to review cases and provide mentorship, while ensuring adherence to clinical protocols
Required qualifications
- Board certification in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- Active and unrestricted Medical State License in any US State, with preference for Virginia, New York, or Massachusetts
- Minimum of 5 years as an attending physician in endocrinology
- Demonstrated competency in managing patients with complex co-morbidities, including CKD, ESRD, and CAD/CV conditions
- Expertise in advanced diabetes management, including the use of CGMs and insulin pumps
