Job Summary

A company is looking for an Executive Commercial Lines Underwriter for the New England Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate new submissions and renewal accounts to determine risk acceptability
• Communicate underwriting standards and coverage advantages to agents and internal partners
• Manage a high-volume agency assignment and prepare material for agency reviews

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines Middle Market Underwriting preferred
• Strong knowledge of General Liability, Worker's Compensation, Property, and Commercial Auto lines
• Proven track record in underwriting and portfolio management in the middle market segment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
