Massachusetts Licensed Fleet Safety Manager
Job Summary
Leading the strategy and implementation of fleet safety initiatives, the remote Senior Regional Manager Fleet Safety will develop policies and procedures to enhance safety within the transportation network while collaborating with fleet leadership and the EHS team.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute safety strategies to reduce injury risks and preventable collisions across the delivery fleet
- Provide strategic leadership for compliance programs related to OSHA, NFPA, and DOT/FMCSA, focusing on driver qualification and safety training
- Analyze fleet performance and safety trends to create initiatives that improve compliance and enhance overall fleet safety performance
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of safety management or leadership experience in the transportation or delivery industry
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations, with experience implementing compliance programs
- Demonstrated experience in developing fleet safety strategies using telematics technology and analytics
- Strong communication skills to convey technical or regulatory requirements effectively across all organizational levels
- Experience with project management and lean six sigma methodology for continuous improvement
