Job Summary

Providing critical support to individuals in need, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Hotline Operator will manage incoming calls using a harm reduction framework, engaging with callers from diverse backgrounds and experiences in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and respond to incoming hotline calls with compassion and professionalism
• Utilize a harm reduction framework to engage callers who may be actively using drugs
• Meet monthly call requirements to maintain active status on the hotline team

Required qualifications

• Current Massachusetts licensure as a hotline operator
• Experience in crisis intervention or addiction support services
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Comfort in discussing sensitive topics related to drug use and addiction
