Job Summary

Providing critical support as the frontline point of contact, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Hotline Operator will manage incoming calls using a harm reduction framework, engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds who are actively using drugs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and respond to incoming hotline calls with empathy and understanding
• Utilize a harm reduction framework to engage callers in meaningful conversations
• Meet monthly call requirements to maintain active status on the hotline team

Required qualifications

• Massachusetts Licensed Hotline Operator certification
• Experience in addiction support or related fields
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals in crisis
• Comfortable discussing sensitive topics related to drug use
• Strong commitment to harm reduction and saving lives
