Job Summary

Providing critical support as the frontline point of contact, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Hotline Operator will manage incoming calls using a harm reduction framework while engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming hotline calls and engage callers in meaningful conversations
• Utilize a harm reduction framework to assist individuals actively using drugs
• Maintain monthly call requirements to remain active on the team

Required qualifications

• Massachusetts Licensed Hotline Operator certification
• Experience in crisis intervention or addiction support services
• Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
• Dedication to saving lives through compassionate actions
• Comfortable engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds
