Job Summary

Managing day-to-day operations of the Utilization Management process, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Inpatient Manager will oversee medical management activities for acute inpatient care, collaborate with various departments to improve service quality, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for the development and implementation of medical management programs related to inpatient utilization and discharge planning
• Provide direct oversight and professional development for Team Managers within jurisdiction
• Manage departmental resources and participate in corporate initiatives to achieve defined goals

Required qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license preferred
• BS degree in nursing required; Master's degree in nursing, business, or healthcare administration preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with leadership experience in managed care systems
• Demonstrated knowledge of utilization management and case management principles
• Experience in business process changes and leading teams
