Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President, Litigation, Labor & Employment Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary in-house legal advisor on employee relations and labor matters
• Strategically reduce reliance on outside counsel by handling labor and employment matters in-house
• Contribute to the Legal team on cannabis regulatory compliance and general business counseling

Qualifications & Skills

• J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar admission in at least one operating state
• Minimum 5 years of experience in labor and employment law
• Experience in union negotiations and grievance handling
• Substantive knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws
• Cannabis industry experience or experience in another highly regulated industry is a plus
