Massachusetts Licensed Marketing Counsel
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Marketing Counsel to provide key business support on the Legal & Compliance Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support to Marketing and Go-to-Market teams on various marketing activities
- Draft, negotiate, revise, and manage marketing, commercial, and technology contracts
- Develop and implement playbooks and guidelines to enhance legal processes and compliance
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in law firm or in-house technology settings
- Graduate of an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in a US jurisdiction
- Experience with marketing and commercial contracts and independent negotiation processes
- Familiarity with content licensing, trademark maintenance, and fair advertising principles
- Understanding of data protection frameworks like CCPA and GDPR
