Massachusetts Licensed Medical Case Manager

Job Summary

To support the management of workers' compensation and disability claims, a remote Massachusetts Licensed Medical Case Manager will coordinate medical activities, facilitate patient outcomes, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage medical activities of workers' compensation and disability claims, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
• Coordinate with patients, healthcare providers, and employers to facilitate timely return to work and efficient claims resolution
• Gather clinical information and certify medical necessity of services while presenting case management information to clients

Required qualifications

• Active RN license for the state of Massachusetts
• 5 to 10 years of experience in workers' compensation and disability case management
• CCM, CRS, or CDMS certification required
• Strong clinical background in orthopedics, neurology, or rehabilitation
• Master's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field preferred
