Massachusetts Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To provide telehealth primary care services, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Nurse Practitioner will perform virtual examinations, order tests, and develop treatment plans while working remotely with flexible scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Performs and documents complete medical histories and physical examinations to formulate diagnoses and treatment plans
• Orders and reviews laboratory tests and imaging studies, as well as provides counseling and education to patients and families
• Prescribes medications and coordinates care with specialists as needed, ensuring compliance with state and institutional policies

Required qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Eligible or current Massachusetts license with national certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, as applicable)
• Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration
• Experience in Primary Care, preferably managing a patient panel
• Experience with virtual care and familiarity with EPIC medical record systems
