Job Summary
To support patients with mild to moderate mental health and substance use needs, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Nurse Practitioner will provide remote clinical care through video, phone, and text, focusing on psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and interdisciplinary collaboration within the Collaborative Care Model.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct virtual comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and manage medication for various mental health conditions
- Collaborate with primary care and behavioral health teams to ensure coordinated patient care and provide consultative guidance
- Utilize measurement-based tools to track patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Required qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts and certification in Psychiatric Mental Health
- Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain, with a preference for X-waiver
- 2+ years of experience in behavioral patient care and 5+ years working with high-risk populations
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and trauma-informed care
- Demonstrated strong clinical judgment and ability to make independent medical decisions
