Job Summary

Overseeing the daily operations of the Trauma Registry, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Nurse Supervisor will ensure high-quality, timely, and accurate trauma data while supervising a team of trauma registrars in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily Trauma Registry operations, ensuring accurate abstraction, coding, and report generation
• Ensure all registry staff are fully trained in trauma data abstraction and coding, maintaining ongoing education
• Prepare and validate trauma registry data to meet quarterly reporting requirements for TQIP and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• Current Commonwealth of Massachusetts Registered Nurse License required by the hire date
• Certified Specialist in Trauma Registry Certification (CSTR) required by the hire date
• Experience with ICD-10-CM inpatient coding required
• Must complete the American Trauma Society's Trauma Registry Course and AAIS Course within 12 months of hire
