Job Summary
Seeking a Massachusetts Licensed Pet Hospice Veterinarian, the part-time role will provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for pets across Boston, Brookline, Dedham, and Quincy, allowing for a compassionate, unrushed experience without corporate constraints.
Key responsibilities
- Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services to pet families
- Communicate effectively with pet owners and team members, ensuring a respectful and compassionate approach
- Manage a self-scheduled workload while maintaining weekend availability on a rotational basis
Required qualifications
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid driver's license and ability to work independently in a mobile environment
- Willingness to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Experience in end-of-life care and strong interpersonal skills
- Availability for weekend shifts on a rotational basis
