Job Summary
As a Massachusetts Licensed Pharmacy Care Coordinator, the remote contract-to-permanent position will manage telephonic patient engagement, facilitate enrollment in a specialized pharmacy program, and ensure adherence to complex medication schedules while working full-time hours.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound outreach to patients to introduce pharmacy services and guide them through enrollment
- Document patient consent and update electronic health records based on patient decisions regarding pharmacy services
- Meet call center performance expectations, including call quality and enrollment targets, while maintaining patient privacy standards
Required qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Experience in a telephonic, call-center, or high-volume patient outreach environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust over the phone
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR/EMR) for documentation and updates
- Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient privacy
