Massachusetts Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
To support the Advanced Therapeutics team, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Pharmacy Technician will perform benefit investigations, submit prior authorizations, and conduct patient outreach, working remotely as needed.
Key responsibilities:
- Completes benefit investigations and documents results in the patient electronic medical record
- Submits prior authorizations to insurance and follows up on inquiries regarding insurance decisions
- Maintains inventory of medications and coordinates prescription delivery with patients and pharmacies
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current license with the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy
- Certification from a national governing body (PTCB or ExCPT) or must obtain certification within 6 months of hire
- Minimum of one year of related experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Proficiency in math and computer use, with the ability to follow instructions accurately
