Massachusetts Licensed PreOp Evaluation Nurse

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CPE / PreOp Eval Nurse to conduct preoperative assessments and ensure patient readiness for surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough preoperative nursing assessments, including medical history review and medication reconciliation
• Review and ensure completion of all required preoperative testing according to clinical guidelines
• Provide patient education on preoperative instructions and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• PACU/PreOp or PreOp evaluation nursing experience required
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
