Massachusetts Licensed PreOp Nurse

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CPE / PreOp Eval Nurse - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and review medical histories to optimize patient readiness for surgery
• Ensure completion of required preoperative testing and collaborate with healthcare providers to address risk factors
• Provide patient education on preoperative instructions and document all assessments and interventions in the EMR

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in perioperative, PACU, or critical care settings
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and strong organizational/documentation skills
• Adherence to C.A.R.E. standards and ability to function under stress while maintaining interpersonal skills
