Massachusetts Licensed Principal Engineer

Job Summary

To support the expansion of its infrastructure practice, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Principal Engineer will lead business development and project delivery for municipal infrastructure projects, focusing on building relationships with clients in key Northeast markets while initially working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the growth of Apex's infrastructure services within the designated local market
• Serve as a trusted advisor to municipal and utility clients, identifying new project opportunities and managing proposals
• Oversee delivery of municipal infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to scope, schedule, and budget

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or relevant engineering discipline
• 15+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure
• Registered Professional Engineer preferred in MA, CT, or NH
• Demonstrated success in developing new markets and securing key municipal clients
• Strong record of mentoring and leading cross-discipline project teams
