Massachusetts Licensed Product Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a Massachusetts Licensed Product Counsel, the full-time remote attorney will provide practical legal advice throughout the product development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage risk and support innovation in data and analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise Product and Engineering teams on legal issues during product development
• Review new products and initiatives, offering timely legal guidance that balances risk and innovation
• Counsel on intellectual property, software licensing, privacy, and regulatory considerations affecting company products

Required qualifications

• J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• 4-7 years of relevant legal experience counseling SaaS companies
• Experience advising on open-source software licensing, compliance, and governance is a plus
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments while managing competing priorities
• Experience using AI tools to enhance legal workflow efficiency is advantageous
