Job Summary

Seeking a Massachusetts Licensed Project Manager, the full-time salaried Project Manager - Utility Permitting will lead and manage utility project permitting efforts for natural gas, renewable energy generation, and electric transmission projects throughout the Northeast, primarily focusing on client needs and project implementation from planning through construction.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead project teams in navigating permitting challenges and developing permitting strategies
  • Manage New-England-based projects, ensuring compliance with NEPA and state-level permitting requirements
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to foster relationships and support business development in the energy marketplace
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, botany, wildlife management, or a closely related field
  • Six to ten years of natural resources consulting experience, including project management
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary staff to achieve project goals
  • Demonstrated experience with state and federal permitting processes and agency interactions
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements
