Job Summary
Leading the accredited Associate of Science Degree Respiratory Care Program, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Respiratory Care Program Director will manage program administration, curriculum oversight, and faculty supervision while ensuring compliance with CoARC Standards and preparing students for credentialing examinations.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the organization, administration, and continuous review of the Respiratory Care Program
- Ensure the curriculum is competency-based and aligned with CoARC Standards, preparing students for NBRC credentialing
- Recruit, supervise, and evaluate faculty and instructors, promoting their development in teaching and clinical instruction best practices
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in respiratory care, health sciences, education, or a related field preferred
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Active state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist, where required
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, including at least 2 years in clinical practice
- At least 2 years of teaching or instructional experience in respiratory care or a related allied health field
