Massachusetts Licensed Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Owning the workflows that protect revenue, the full-time salaried Senior Revenue Cycle Specialist will investigate and resolve denials and rejections, manage aging accounts receivable, and ensure compliance with billing regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including payment posting, cash reconciliation, and payer follow-up
• Oversee denials and rejections recovery by investigating root causes, submitting corrected claims and appeals, and implementing systemic improvements
• Serve as the internal expert on payer requirements and billing compliance, addressing inquiries from clinical and operations teams

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle roles
• 1+ years of behavioral health billing experience
• Expertise in denials management, appeals, and accounts receivable follow-up
• Strong knowledge of healthcare billing regulations and payer requirements
• Proven ability to identify and resolve billing issues independently
