Massachusetts Licensed RN MDS Reviewer

Job Summary

Supporting the successful completion and submission of the MDS to MassHealth, the full-time Remote Massachusetts Licensed RN MDS Reviewer will review MDS assessments for accuracy, provide feedback to the Clinical Care Manager, and assist in training staff while working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews MDS forms for completeness and accuracy, providing feedback to the Clinical Care Manager
• Completes portions of the electronic MDS-HC form based on record review and prepares MDS forms for data entry
• Conducts training sessions for Care Management staff to ensure high-quality MDS assessments

Required qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Five years of experience in an acute or long-term care setting
• Experience with MassHealth populations preferred
• Familiarity with care management platforms preferred
