Massachusetts Licensed Science Instructor

Job Summary

To support student learning, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Science Instructor will teach synchronous online courses, plan engaging instructional strategies, and ensure compliance with college policies while working remotely from approved locations in Massachusetts.

Key responsibilities:

• Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams, maximizing student engagement and learning
• Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with accreditation and institutional policies
• Stay current in the field through professional development and connect subject matter with related disciplines

Required qualifications:

• Massachusetts teaching license or appropriate credential in the subject area
• Official transcripts demonstrating a bachelor's or master's degree with at least 18 units in the subject taught
• At least three years of experience in the respective field or two years of teaching experience
• Experience with synchronous online teaching preferred
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and learning technologies such as Canvas
