Massachusetts Licensed Scoring Associate

Job Summary

To support the evaluation of teacher candidates, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Scoring Associate will remotely evaluate test responses, engage in scoring discussions, and maintain scoring standards for various subjects, including Dance and Digital Literacy.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate responses to test questions by Massachusetts teacher candidates
• Internalize scoring standards and participate in consensus scoring activities
• Recognize and discuss various types of bias and implement strategies to reduce them in scoring

Required qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or higher
• A current teaching certification in the subject area with two or more years of recent experience in a public school
• Experience as a college/university faculty member preparing candidates for the subject area
• Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse)
• Eligible to work in the United States
