Job Summary
Evaluating responses to test questions, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Scoring Associate will score teacher candidates in subjects such as Dance, Digital Literacy & Computer Science, History, Music, Technology Engineering, and Theater while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate responses to test questions by Massachusetts teacher candidates
- Internalize scoring standards and participate in consensus scoring activities
- Recognize and discuss various types of bias and implement strategies to reduce personal biases in scoring
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Current teaching certification in the subject area applied for with two or more years of recent experience in a public school
- Experience as a college/university faculty member preparing candidates for the subject area
- Graduate student currently teaching courses in the subject area
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain a confidential work environment
