Massachusetts Licensed Senior Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Consultant to serve as an Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller for early-stage life science companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the accounting department, including general accounting transactions and journal entries
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll administration, and contribute to audit preparation
• Monitor accounting data, produce financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting principles

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting and finance experience, preferably with Big 4/CPA Firm experience
• 2+ years in roles such as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Assistant Controller
• Experience in the Life Sciences industry
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting; CPA or MBA is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems like QuickBooks or NetSuite
