Massachusetts Licensed Senior Staff Attorney

Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Senior Staff Attorney will litigate cases involving premise liability, products liability, and automobile accidents, working remotely while independently managing a portfolio of lawsuits throughout Massachusetts.

Key responsibilities

• Independently handle lawsuits and prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies
• Conduct legal research and develop defense strategies while communicating effectively with clients and the court
• Prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials and alternative dispute resolutions

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and a license to practice in Massachusetts
• At least 7 years of tort litigation experience preferred
• Member in good standing of the Massachusetts Bar; admission to Rhode Island or New Hampshire Bar is a plus
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize duties effectively
