Job Summary
To support the Global Tax Department, the full-time Senior Tax Associate will automate and prepare U.S. tax compliance, manage business licenses, and address tax controversies, working in a hybrid environment based in Boston, Massachusetts.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in identifying tax implications to minimize the Company's tax liabilities and maintain the tax calendar
- Support IRS and state tax controversies by responding to tax correspondence and information requests
- Conduct tax research and analysis to support planning and compliance efforts while ensuring SOX compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- 3 - 4 years of corporate accounting or tax experience in a public accounting firm and/or large corporation
- Federal and state compliance experience preferred
- Strong technological skills with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
