Job Summary
A company is looking for a Commercial Settlement Officer to manage settlement processes for commercial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and send settlement statements for sales or financing, managing correspondence and updates throughout the transaction
- Verify wire instructions and prepare funding packages for the accounting team, ensuring all necessary documentation is in order
- Handle confirmations of initiated wires and manage deposits or funds related to cancellations or post-closing items
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in a commercial settlement role or similar
- Strong knowledge of Title Insurance is encouraged
- Familiarity with SoftPro Select is a plus
- High level of accountability and professionalism in handling confidential information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
