Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar (Remote- New England Only).

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize, coordinate, abstract, and enter data for the Trauma Registry
• Review medical documents and maintain concurrent data on all trauma patients
• Prepare performance improvement reports and assist with data validation and analysis

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associate degree or equivalent education and experience
• Must prepare to sit for Trauma Program Registrar Certification Course within 2 years of hire
• Completion of the American Trauma Society's Trauma Registry Course and the Injury Scaling Course within 12 months of hire
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role with knowledge of ICD9/ICD10 coding
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy required
