Massachusetts Licensed Trauma Registrar

Job Summary

Supporting the Trauma Surgery team, the full-time Massachusetts Licensed Trauma Registrar will manage and maintain the Trauma Registry database, abstract and analyze clinical data, and ensure compliance with state and national reporting requirements while working remotely from approved states.

Key responsibilities:

• Collect, abstract, and analyze complex clinical data for trauma patients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support trauma quality initiatives and performance improvement efforts
• Prepare and submit state and national trauma registry data, producing reports that inform clinical research and operational decision-making

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of trauma registry experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center
• Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to interpret complex medical documentation
• Experience abstracting and analyzing detailed clinical data
• Familiarity with trauma registry databases and reporting tools
