Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote, Per Diem Tumor Registrar.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain data abstracting and reporting in compliance with American College of Surgeons standards
• Review and analyze hospital records for cancer data and prepare reports for audits and studies
• Identify and register patients diagnosed with malignant diseases and assist in developing outcome measurements

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 3 or more years of related experience in Health Information Management (HIM) and data abstraction
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, pathology, and physiology
• Exceptional skills in computer navigation and data entry
• Tumor Registrar Certification (CTR) preferred or must be obtained within two years
