Massachusetts Licensed Underground Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underground Transmission Engineer to join their team remotely in New England.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical lead for underground transmission line projects (69kV-345kV+)
• Oversee preparation of engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Act as a technical advisor to clients, supporting planning, feasibility studies, and project development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (PE preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in underground transmission line engineering
• Proven experience delivering UG transmission projects from concept through construction
• Strong understanding of cable systems, thermal ratings, and duct bank design
• Familiarity with relevant standards (IEEE, NESC, ASCE, utility specifications)
