Massachusetts Licensed Utilization Management RN

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Management RN (MNA).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site transitional care coordination and ensure optimal communication between treating facilities, patients, and families
• Conduct medical record reviews and initial assessments of hospitalized patients, facilitating smooth transitions of care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess patient needs, manage risks, and schedule follow-up visits post-discharge

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a State-approved school of nursing
• Current, unrestricted nursing license in Massachusetts
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and proficiency in software applications including MS Office and EPIC
• Ability to interpret clinical information and apply utilization management criteria for decision-making
