Job Summary

To ensure the quality of care for injured employees, the remote Massachusetts Licensed Utilization RN will review complex workers' compensation medical treatment requests, advocate for appropriate treatment, and maintain accurate documentation while adhering to established guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess medical treatment requests against evidence-based guidelines
• Research claim files and interpret medical reports to determine treatment appropriateness
• Maintain clear documentation and advocate for injured workers within the claims process

Required qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in acute care or related medical fields
• Strong knowledge of managed care practices and medical treatment guidelines
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Experience in orthopedic, neurology, or rehabilitation settings is highly desirable
