Job Summary
To provide compassionate in-home euthanasia and hospice care, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Veterinarian will serve pet families across Boston and surrounding areas, focusing on meaningful end-of-life experiences without the constraints of non-compete agreements.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct in-home euthanasia and hospice services for pets, ensuring a dignified experience for families
- Manage a mobile practice independently, traveling to clients' homes as needed
- Communicate professionally with pet owners and team members, fostering a supportive environment
Required qualifications
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid driver's license and ability to work in a mobile environment
- Weekend availability on a rotational basis
- Capacity to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Demonstrated compassion and respect in all interactions with clients and their pets
