Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Care Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Navigate prior authorization requests for medications and communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies
• Maintain knowledge of health plan formulary and authorization requirements, and assist patients with financial assistance options
• Ensure compliance with PHI and HIPAA regulations while providing high-quality customer service

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician or prior authorization experience
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft systems
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in medical assisting or related field
• Preferred: Experience with pharmacy management or EMR software
