Massachusetts Pharmacy Training Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance the onboarding experience for new employees, the full-time Massachusetts Pharmacy Training Specialist will manage training programs, conduct assessments, and provide ongoing support to ensure staff competency in outpatient pharmacy operations, both remotely and onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structured training programs for new hires, covering essential pharmacy competencies and onboarding processes
• Act as an instructor for the Pharmacy Technician Training Program, delivering lectures and providing one-on-one assistance to students
• Assist in the development of e-learning modules and training materials to support ongoing staff education and certification preparation

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
• Must apply for a Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician Trainee license upon hire
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience in an education or operations role
• Demonstrated knowledge of pharmacy licensing requirements and compliance standards
